Wandertribe is a global community of people who want to meet, share experiences and build genuine connections. To make it work well for everyone, a few simple rules apply.

Be yourself

Authentic profiles only. Use your real identity, real photo and accurate information. Fake profiles, impersonation and accounts created with false information are prohibited and will be removed.

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to bypass a suspension is not allowed.

Respect others

Zero harassment. Insults, threats, intimidation, unwanted repeated messages and aggressive behaviour are not tolerated — in public or in private.

Zero discrimination. No hateful content based on race, origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic.

Respect rejections. If someone doesn't reply or declines a conversation, respect their decision. Persistent contact is considered harassment.

Allowed and prohibited content

Friendly and respectful messages

🚫 Prohibited

Sexually explicit or pornographic content
Violent, shocking or graphic imagery
Non-consensual intimate images or revenge porn
Content depicting minors inappropriately
Misinformation and fake news

No spam or solicitation

No advertising, commercial promotion or selling of products/services without authorisation
No mass messaging or unsolicited solicitation
No links to dubious external websites
No recruitment for pyramid schemes or cults

Safe meetings

Wandertribe facilitates online connections, but in-person meetings are your own responsibility. A few tips:

Meet in a public place first for an initial encounter
Tell someone you trust about your plans
Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave
Never share your home address, workplace or financial information with someone you don't know well

Report, don't retaliate

If you see behaviour that breaks these rules, use the report button rather than responding. Our team reviews every report. Available categories are:

Spam — advertising, mass messages
Harassment — abusive behaviour, threats, persistent contact
Inappropriate content — shocking or explicit images or text
Misinformation — false information, fake profiles
Other — any other problematic behaviour

Consequences

Failure to follow these rules may result in, depending on severity:

Warning — reminder of the rules
Content removal — immediate removal of the offending content
Temporary suspension — limited access to the app
Permanent account deletion — without notice for serious violations

The most serious violations (child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, etc.) will be reported to the relevant authorities.
